This interactive event is designed for both the classroom and physical education. Each day, students will take part in engaging activities that encourage collaboration, kindness, and creativity, whether in the classroom or during physical education.
Perhaps as physical educators, we should provide more encouragement for creative improvisation. Here are some other ideas—some tongue in cheek and some not— that might improve our childrens’ dearth of plaything creativity: Make MacGyver re-runs required television viewing for all school-age children.
