Babies come into this world amid a lot of expectations from parents. Mom and Dad imagine that children will be cute, fun, and fulfilling and that they will grow up to make us proud. We expect that they will learn what they are supposed to learn when they should learn it: like potty training, sleeping.

Christian McCaffrey, the dynamic running back for the San Francisco 49ers, recently visited Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, bringing cheer and smiles to our young patients. With a heart as big as his talent, McCaffrey spent quality time with the young patients, offering not only gifts and hugs, but also creating cherished memories.
