Mark has been in the field of education since 1976. Mark’s journey in education brought him to Arizona in 1982 where he began teaching adapted physical education at the Arizona Schools for the Deaf and the Blind. While at ASDB, he helped to organize and develop the first ever Adapted Sports Program for sensory impaired, multi-disabled students. The program included opportunities in adapted sport organizations such as the Special Olympics, Disabled Sports USA and USABA.

“My 9-year-old son told me our neighbor boy, his friend, described pornographic scenes he saw in detail to him. My son is traumatized.” I read the above on a Facebook page I follow. This parent went on to say that she was caught off guard. Even though she has talked with her child about sex and puberty, she hadn’t discussed pornography.
