Can A-level PE Lead to a Degree in Medicine? Part 2

The Everlearner

In December 2021, I unknowingly wrote my most popular blog post ever. It was “Can A-level PE Lead to a Degree in Medicine?” and the post has received tens of thousands of reads. Reimagine the Role of PE to Reconnect With Your Students

Speaker: Jeremy Kellem, M.Ed. - Educational Strategist, Former Athlete, and CEO/Founder of W.I.N. (We Impact Now, LLC)

For many students, physical education is critical to becoming active and developing healthy routines. But how is this possible anymore with the repercussions of the pandemic? Years of COVID-19, social distancing, and virtual learning have all had a profound effect on students, which means educators need to adjust their classes accordingly. The good news is that P.E. can still play a vital role in helping students intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially.

How Physical Education Plays a Core Role in Student Development

Speaker: Shane Pill PhD, MEd, BEd, LMACHPER, FACHPER - Physical Education and Sports Researcher, Professor, Consultant, and Speaker

Physical education is an important part of the development of the whole person: physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively. The Relentless School Nurse: Why We Leave

Why school nurses leave their positions has been on my mind a lot lately. I noticed a significant uptick of conversations on Facebook about nurses who were resigning. Some negotiated an earlier “release” date to preserve their own mental health. The support for these school nurses who are leaving our ranks is plentiful and filled with sentiments like, “I might coming right behind you.” One school nurse I contacted explained her difficult decision to leave her school dist

The 5 Greatest Left-Handed Tennis Players of All-Time

The Best Left-Handed Tennis Players Ever Facing a left-hander at the elite level of tennis is a hell of a challenge, ripping up game plans and forcing the receiver to use their potentially weaker backhand. The southpaw tends to rely on a swinging serve and a bunch of cross-court forehands played with height and topspin. It can take the opponent out of their comfort zone, plus they get to serve out wide to the righty backhand on 3 out of 4 game points.
