To be 100% truthful, I was always a little too fat, but I was also pretty strong (competitive powerlifter), so the extra girth was “justified.” However, as the Covid numbers kept climbing and climbing, I knew that doing a powerlifting meet, where sometimes hundreds of people are all in close proximity all day long, was not a great idea.
