Using the City as Your Physical Education Classroom

Health and Physical Education Leaders Seek Election to SHAPE America Board

in kinesiology (sport pedagogy) and an M.S. Nilo was a preK-8 PE teacher and coach before going to higher education. He is the chair of the SHAPE America Physical Education Council and chair of youth sports for SCAHPERD. He has a Ph.D. degree in health and physical education.

Daily Physical Education as an Academic and Behavioral Intervention

Over the last 5 years, I have raised $149,000 in grants, awards and donations for PE items, including the bike park and bike fleet. Riding For Focus and the Outride Fund are great places to start, as well as checking with your local hospitals/clinics, professional sports teams, and local businesses.
